Eligibility Criteria
- The bride should be from an economically weaker family.
- The beneficiary should reside in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
- The bride should be of legally marriageable age.
- The marriage must be already registered with the appropriate authorities.
Objectives of YSR Kalyanamastu Scheme
The main objectives of this scheme are to help the minorities and fulfill the promises made to them in the manifesto. YSR Kalyanamastu Scheme promotes inter-caste marriages. As you all might know, communities and families in India are not in favor of inter-caste marriages, which leads to neglect of children. So as a result, the government is helping the minorities.
Benefits of YSR Kalyanamastu Scheme
- SC and ST beneficiaries will be provided financial assistance of Rs 1.2 lakh for inter-caste marriages.
- ST and SC will generally get benefits of around Rs 1 lakh.
- Backward class beneficiaries who marry inter-caste will get benefits of Rs 75,000, and backward classes will get Rs 50,000.
- Disabled beneficiaries will get Rs 1.5 lakh from this scheme.
- Two construction workers will be given Rs 40,000 for marriage.

How to check YSR Kalyanamastu status
- To check YSR Kalyanamastu status, you have to open the official website of NBM portal.
- Now the homepage of YSR Kalyanamastu website will open on the screen in front of you.
- After this, click on the Beneficiary Status option from the homepage, now a new page will appear on the screen.
- You have to select the scheme type: YSR Kalyanamastu.
- Now select the year and enter your UID number.
- Enter the given captcha code and click on Get OTP option
- After entering the OTP, click on the submit option.
- YSR Kalyanamastu status will be displayed on the screen.
