Eligibility criteria

  • The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
  • The applicant must be 18 years of age as on the last date of application in DDA Housing Scheme. Flat under DDA Housing Scheme will be allotted only to an individual or jointly to his wife/dependent if they own a plot of not more than 67 square meters in Delhi or Delhi Cantonment area.
  • If both husband and wife apply separately, only one of them will be allotted the flat.
  • The individual income of the applicant or joint applicant should not exceed Rs 3 lakh per annum, and the household income should not exceed Rs 10 lakh per annum.
  • The applicant must have a PAN number.

Benefits of DDA Housing Scheme

  • 6.5% interest subsidy per annum for LIG and EWS categories, i.e. loan up to Rs 6 lakh.
  • 4% interest subsidy per annum for MIG-1 category, i.e. loan up to Rs 5 lakh.
  • 3% interest subsidy per annum for MIG-2 category, i.e. loan up to Rs 12 lakh.
  • Central assistance up to Rs 1.5 lakh to EWS category beneficiaries for new housing construction or remodeling of the house.
  • The beneficiary gets an interest subsidy in his loan account.
  • Maximum tenure of the beneficiary is 20 years.
  • Assistance up to 30 sqm for EWS category and 60 sqm for LIG category for acquisition, construction, repurchase or remodeling of the house.
