What is Jagananna Vidya Deevena?
The scholarship scheme has been launched by the Andhra Pradesh government, mainly by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Through the implementation of this scheme, financial funds will be provided to all those students who want to study and get higher education but they are unable to pay the fees of their studies due to the financial burden of their families. Many students of Andhra Pradesh state have very good academic marks but they are unable to pay their fees because they are from poor families. So, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh state has launched the Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme to help all the students.

Eligibility Criteria
- Government job employees cannot avail this scheme.
- If anyone in the family is availing pension benefits, they cannot avail this scheme.
- Students must be enrolled in the following institutes-
- Government/Government aided
- Private colleges affiliated to State Universities/Boards.
- The annual income of the student’s family should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh.
- The student should own only wetland less than 10 acres/ agricultural land less than 25 acres/ or wetland and agricultural land less than 25 acres.
- The student should not own any four wheeler vehicle (car, taxi, auto etc.).
