The financial assistance will be sent directly to the bank accounts of eligible women through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The state government has allocated a budget of Rs 46,000 crore to facilitate the implementation of the Ladli Behna Yojana. Eligibility Criteria
- The woman applying for this scheme should be a resident of Maharashtra state.
- The age of the woman applying for this scheme should be between 21 – 60 years.
- Along with this, the annual income of the applicant woman’s family should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
- If any member of the woman’s family is an income tax payer, then he is not eligible for this scheme.
