Eligibility Criteria
If you want to get your own house under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, you have to meet its eligibility criteria:
- homeless family
- Families whose houses have zero, one or two rooms with kutcha walls and kutcha roof.
- Household in which there is no literate adult above 25 years of age.
- Household in which there is no adult male member in the age group of 16 to 59 years.
- A household in which there is no adult member aged 16-59 years.
- A family in which people are disabled.
- Apart from this, there are families who earn their living by working hard.
- Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Others, and Minority Families.

- To check PM housing status, first of all visit the official website – https://pmaymis.gov.in/.
- After this you have to click on the option of Citizen Assessment in the menu section.
- Now a drop down menu will open in front of you.
- Now select Track your assessment status from the dropdown menu.
- After this, a new page – https://pmaymis.gov.in/track_application_status.aspx will open in front of you, here you will see 2 options.
- In this, the first option will be By Name, Father’s Name & Mobile Number and the second option will be Assessment ID.
- After this, choose any one of these two options as per your convenience.
- Enter the requested information on the new page.
- After this click on the submit button.
