Eligibility Criteria
Any woman who proposes to get married can apply in this scheme if her application fulfils the following benefits:-
- She has attained the age of 18 years and is unmarried on the date of submitting her application.
- The proposed marriage is her first marriage.
- She was born in West Bengal or she has been a resident of WB for the last 5 years or her parents are permanent residents of West Bengal.
- Her family income does not exceed Rs.1.50 lakh per annum.
- Her god has attained the age of 21 years.
- The beneficiary has an active bank account of which she is the sole account holder.
- The bank account should be in a bank which has an IFSC code and a MICR code and the transaction period is NEFT irrespective of the age of the girl child.

- Family Income: Self-declaration certified by a competent proof.
- Proof of Residence: Self-declaration certified by a competent proof.
- Bank Account: Self-attested photo-copy of the page of the bank book which provides complete information of the account holder’s name, account number, bank address, real code and other work.
- Proof of Proposed Marriage: Any one of the following: Marriage Registration Card/ Notice for Marriage Registration.
