    • The scheme will be applicable only to Indian citizens who carry out their employment by putting up hawkers.
    • Street vendors must have an identity card or vending certificate issued by the Urban Local Bodies (ULB).
    • Street vendors were identified in the survey but vending certificates or identity cards were not found. In such cases, provisional vending certificates will be generated for street vendors.
    • Street vendors who were left out of the ULB-led identification survey or who have started vending after the completion of the survey have been sent a Letter of Recommendation (LOAR) by both the ULB or Town Vending Committee (TVC).
    • Street vendors who sell in nearby developments or rural or suburban areas are within the geographical limits of the LB and have been issued a Letter of Recommendation (LOAR) by the LB or TVC.

    PM Swanidhi Scheme Objective

    Under PM Svanidhi Yojana, the government wants to make all the street vendors of the country self-reliant. There are many people in our country who start their own business because they will not get employment. But due to the epidemic of Kovid-19, many people had to close their businesses. Due to which it has become very difficult for all of them to live life. The government has started this scheme to start employment again for all those people.

    Through PM Svanidhi Yojana, all street vendors will be encouraged to start employment by giving loans. All the street vendors will be able to restart their business by taking their loan under this scheme. The government also wants to promote digitalization under the scheme. On repaying the loan taken under this scheme on time, an additional subsidy of 7% will be given by the government.

    Benefits of PM Swanidhi Scheme

    • Through this scheme, the government will provide loans to street vendors without any guarantee to start a business.
    • If the loan is deposited on time by the beneficiary, then he will be given an additional subsidy of 7%.
    • Under this scheme, if the loan of the first installment is deposited on time, then the beneficiaries will be provided a loan of Rs 20000 under the second installment.
    • No penalty will have to be paid on the loan taken under this scheme.
    • Under the scheme, loans will be provided to all the small street vendors of the country.
    • The loan of the first installment taken under the scheme can be repaid by the beneficiary within 12 months.
    • On the other hand, the loan of the second installment can be repaid in 18 months.
    • Also, if a trader has taken a loan of the third installment, then it can be repaid up to 36 months.
    • Digital transactions will be promoted under this scheme.

    • The farmer must be a West Bengali citizen.
    • Farmers who want to apply for Krishak Bandhu Yojana must have at least one acre of land.

    Benefits of Krishak Bandhu Yojana 

    • Through this scheme, the West Bengal state authorities will provide financial assistance to the applicants selected under this initiative.
    • The farmers of the WB state were able to live a life independently from others by getting financial assistance for their daily needs.
    • Amount ranging from Rs.10,000 – Rs.4,000 will be transferred directly to the bank account of the selected candidates.
    • The candidates do not need to go out of their homes to check their application status online.
    • If the farmer between the age of 18 to 60 years dies, the WB state government will additionally provide financial assistance of Rs.2 lakh.
    • Objectives of Krishak Bandhu Scheme
    • The West Bengal government led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee launched the Krishak Bandhu scheme to provide financial assistance to farming families. Therefore, we decided to provide all the relevant information, including direct links, guidelines for checking the status, and much more.
    • The primary goal of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to all West Bengali farmers. The farmer must have at least one acre of land to apply and register for the Krishak Bandhu scheme. Failure to do so will prevent the farmer from participating in the program.
